Community for Peace and Nonviolence
DESCRIPTION:
The Community for Peace and Nonviolence is a coalition of churches, including Sacred Heart Parish, that seeks to explore, practice and promote Jesus’ nonviolence way of righting wrong and establishing justice and peace. Activities include the annual St. Marcellus Day Celebration and educational and advocacy activities on peacemaking and nonviolence.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Become a representative from Sacred Heart – requires attending a monthly board meeting and educating and engaging the parish in CPNV activities.
